Destination Details

Panch Kedar refers to the five sacred Shiva temples nestled in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, each with its unique legend and spiritual significance. These temples—Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar, and Kalpeshwar—are revered by devotees and adventurers alike. According to Hindu mythology, the Pandavas sought Lord Shiva’s blessings to atone for their sins after the Mahabharata war. However, Lord Shiva, avoiding them, transformed into a bull and dived into the earth, re-emerging in different places, forming the Panch Kedar.
