  • Afternoon: Explore Haridwar’s spiritual sites including the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Witness the evening Aarti ceremony and experience the serene atmosphere.
  • Evening: Return to your accommodation for dinner and rest. Prepare for the journey to Hemkund Sahib the following day.

Day 2: Haridwar to Govindghat

  • Morning: Early breakfast and check-out from Haridwar. Travel by road to Govindghat (approximately 300 km, 10-12 hours), the starting point for the trek to Hemkund Sahib.
  • Afternoon: Enjoy scenic views as you drive through the hills of Uttarakhand. Arrive in Govindghat, check-in at your accommodation, and relax.
  • Evening: Briefing about the trek and overnight stay in Govindghat.

Day 3: Trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria

  • Morning: After breakfast, start the trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria (approx. 13 km, 6-8 hours). The trail is a scenic journey through lush forests and picturesque landscapes.
  • Afternoon: Arrive in Ghangaria, the base camp for Hemkund Sahib. Check-in at your accommodation and rest.
  • Evening: Explore the local area and prepare for the trek to Hemkund Sahib the next day. Enjoy a hearty dinner and early night.

Day 4: Trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib

  • Morning: Begin the trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib (approx. 6 km, 4-6 hours). The trail ascends through beautiful alpine meadows and rugged terrain.
  • Afternoon: Arrive at Hemkund Sahib, a revered Sikh pilgrimage site located at an altitude of 4,632 meters. Visit the sacred Gurudwara, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and pristine lakes.
  • Evening: Enjoy the spiritual ambiance of Hemkund Sahib and the breathtaking views. Return to Ghangaria for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Return Trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat

  • Morning: After breakfast, begin your descent from Ghangaria to Govindghat. The trek is a pleasant return journey through the same scenic trails.
  • Afternoon: Arrive in Govindghat, check-in at your accommodation, and rest. Reflect on your journey and the experiences at Hemkund Sahib.
  • Evening: Enjoy a relaxed evening and prepare for the drive back to Haridwar.

Day 6: Govindghat to Haridwar and Departure

  • Morning: Early breakfast and check-out from Govindghat. Travel back to Haridwar.

  • Evening: Transfer to the railway station or airport for your onward journey.
