Badrinath, the most prominent of the five, is one of the Char Dhams and draws thousands of pilgrims annually. Yogadhyan Badri, known for its meditative ambiance, Bhavishya Badri, where future prophecies are believed to be foretold, Vriddha Badri, representing the aged form of Lord Vishnu, and Adi Badri, believed to be the oldest, complete this divine circuit. The Panch Badri Yatra offers a profound spiritual experience, blending devotion with the serene beauty of the Himalayas, making it a must-visit for those seeking spiritual solace and connection with the divine.

Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar – Drive to Joshimath

  • Morning: Arrive in Haridwar and meet our representative. After a brief orientation, commence your journey to Joshimath (approximately 8-9 hours drive).
  • Enroute: Enjoy picturesque views of the Ganges and the Garhwal Himalayas. Stop at Devprayag, the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers.
  • Evening: Reach Joshimath and check into your hotel. Visit the Narsingh Temple, the winter abode of Lord Badri.
  • Overnight: Stay in Joshimath.

Day 2: Joshimath to Yogdhyan Badri and Bhavishya Badri

  • Morning: After breakfast, drive to Pandukeshwar (30 km). Visit Yogdhyan Badri, where the Pandavas are believed to have meditated.
  • Afternoon: Proceed to Bhavishya Badri (17 km from Joshimath). The trek from Saldhar to Bhavishya Badri is around 3 km, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
  • Evening: Return to Joshimath.
  • Overnight: Stay in Joshimath.

Day 3: Joshimath to Adi Badri

  • Morning: Check out from the hotel and drive to Adi Badri (approx. 4 hours). Adi Badri is a group of 16 ancient temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
  • Afternoon: Explore the temples and learn about their historical significance. These temples are believed to be established by Adi Shankaracharya.
  • Evening: Drive to Karna Prayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Pindar rivers.
  • Overnight: Stay in Karna Prayag.

Day 4: Karna Prayag to Vriddha Badri and Badri Vishal

  • Morning: Drive to Animath village to visit Vriddha Badri, the oldest Badri temple, located 7 km from Joshimath.
  • Afternoon: Continue your journey to Badrinath (approx. 2 hours). Visit Badri Vishal, the most revered among the Panch Badri, located at an altitude of 3,133 meters. Attend the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple.
  • Evening: Explore the temple surroundings, including Tapt Kund, a hot water spring believed to have medicinal properties.
  • Overnight: Stay in Badrinath.

Day 5: Badrinath to Haridwar – Departure

  • Morning: After an early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, start your return journey to Haridwar.
  • Afternoon: Enroute, visit the beautiful Mana village, the last village on the Indo-Tibetan border.
  • Evening: Arrive in Haridwar, marking the end of your Panch Badri Yatra. Depart with divine blessings and unforgettable memories.
